Mezzo-soprano Samantha Taylor completed her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance at University of Houston and has recently performed with HGO Opera to Go, the Houston Saengerbund, and more. Previous roles include Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, Sesto in Giulio Cesare, and Petra in A Little Night Music. Ms. Taylor is a previous recipient of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition Houston District Encouragement award as well as a finalist in the Mobile Opera Vocal Competition. Ms. Taylor has been described by the South Florida Classical Review as singing “with elegance and a rich timbre.”
