Doors open at 7:00pm Friday and Saturday performance dates and 1:30pm on Sunday performance dates. • When you are a season subscriber of Opera in the Heights, you have the opportunity to exchange your tickets for another date at not extra cost. However, a difference in ticket price when exchanging from a lower-priced level to a higher price level will be applied. If you are a subscriber and would like to exchange your tickets for a different performance date, you must call to exchange your tickets at least (1) week in advance. Tickets cannot be exchanged after your original, scheduled performance date has passed. Tickets also cannot be exchanged from one production to another (i.e. you cannot exchange Tosca tickets for Eugene Onegin).

Please be sure to call within normal business box office hours Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, or email us at boxoffice@operaintheheights.org. Provide your account name and new desired performance date. For any exchanges made, we cannot guarantee your preferred seat(s).

Single ticket holders can exchange, but are subject to a $10 exchange fee per ticket exchanged.

  • Tickets are non-refundable. If ever you can't use your tickets, let us know! Return them to us in advance of the performance and we'll convert the value to a Tax Deductible Donation. It's a Win/Win. We will resell your seat and mail you a confirmation letter to use when you prepare your tax return!

All programs and artists are subject to change.

  • No worries! Please give us a call (713) 861-5303 or email us boxoffice@operaintheheights.org and let us know you need new tickets. Depending on how early or late you let us know, we will either ship or place your tickets at will call. We can also email your tickets if you wish to skip the long lines!

  • You are more than welcome to show up to a sold out performance and try your luck by purchasing a standby ticket at the front entrance an hour and a half before show starts. A standby ticket is a general admission ticket that allows you to use an unoccupied seat left by any no-shows - only available on a first-come, first-served basis at curtain time. We do not guarantee seating.

If original seat owner arrives and claims their purchased seat, we will do our best to direct you to another available seat.

If we cannot find an open seat for you, we will issue a refund. Credit card refunds will be processed on the next business day. Standby tickets cannot be exchanged for a different performance date.

For more information or questions, please email info@operaintheheights.org or call our Box Office 713-861-530

Please be ready to provide an account name for the person, organization, or event that gifted you your vouchers.

  • At Opera in the Heights we do not have a dress code. Many patrons will wish to attend in their best suit or cocktail hour dress, but others will show up in their favorite casual attire. It is up to you as long as it meets the standards of public attire.

  • Masking remains optional at our performances. We continue to consult the Houston Health Department to align our safety protocols in accordance with recommendations from our trusted public health experts.
