Michigan native Dr. Lisa Borik Vickers is thrilled to return to Opera in the Heights in this stunning musical! Previous Oh! credits include the Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Micaëla (La tragédie de Carmen), and Annina (La traviata). Hailed for her “rich, soaring voice” and “honeyed tone,” she sings frequently with the Houston Grand Opera and will appear with the HGO chorus in Parsifal and Don Giovanni this season. She debuted with Theatre Under the Stars in Sweeney Todd (Beggar Woman u/s/ensemble) earlier this season. She is an alumnus of UH (DMA and MM, Vocal Performance) and her favorite role to date is mama to Charlotte and Cora.
