Laura Corina Sanders is a native of San Francisco, currently based in Houston. Her accolades include 1st place of the 2018 Lotte Lenya Competition, 1st place in the 2023 Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Houston Career Grant competition. She was most recently seen at Opera In The Heights as Water in The Little Prince. Laura is an alum of the Eastman School of Music. Notable appearances include Mobile Opera, Union Avenue Opera, Charlottesville Opera, Opera Orlando, Hawaii Opera Theatre and Minnesota Opera, where she performed in the world premiere of Jocelyn Hagen’s The Song Poet.
