Alejandro Magallón | TENOR

Mexican tenor Alejandro Magallón returns to OH! in his second principal artist role, first appearing in 2018 as “Nobody” in Evan Mack’s Lucinda y Las Flores de la Nochebuena. He regularly performs with Houston Grand Opera (HGO), and has sung with Minnesota Opera, Twin Cities Picnic Operetta, Minnesota Orchestra, Tyrolean Opera Program, and Ópera Guadalajara. He has originated roles in the world premieres of Paul Moravec's The Shining, Ethan Fredrick Greene's A Way Home, and Mary Carol Warwick's The Clever Wife. A sought after translator, he has translated operas for Lyric Opera of Chicago, Fort Worth Opera, and HGO.
